Job Description: Toynk Toys is looking to hire several warehouse personnel to work in a very fast-paced, yet casual environment. We have a variety of shifts available including early morning, late evening, as well as Saturday & Sunday shifts. Company Description: Toynk Toys is an online and local retailer that sells toys, collectibles and costumes. Our office/warehouse is located in Addison, Illinois.
Position: Warehouse Seasonal Only, Immediate Start
- Candidates must possess the following qualities:
- High school education or equivalent
- Basic math & reading comprehension
- Be able to spend 8-10 hours days on your feet comfortably
- Must be able to climb industrial ladders
- Must be able to safely lift and carry items up to 25lbs.
- Good verbal communication
- Previous warehouse experience a plus, but not necessary
Depending on the position, your responsibilities will include:
- Picking product for an order
- Packing product in boxes for shipment
- Processing the shipment on a carrier specific, computer-based program
- Handling customer product returns
Position: Product Returns Specialist Seasonal Only, Immediate Start
- Open polybags and boxes from customer product returns. Inspect the item(s) for damage, missing pieces, reason for return, etc.
- Product items are toys, costumes and apparel.
- Place the item in the appropriate are according to the reason of the return.
- Enter the order number into internal system and record the reason for the return and the condition.
Skills Required:
- Basic Computer Data Entry.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with cardboard packaging, tape and a box cutter knife.
- Pays attention to detail.
- Works at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Being able to bend, lift up to 15lbs, frequently changing from sit to standing position.
